Jia is not a tree.
A tree is one appearance of Jia.
Jia begins where life reaches toward space that does not yet exist.
Jia came to a wall that had no gate.
Behind it was light. Before it was earth packed hard by years of weight.
Jia asked, “If there is no road, what is the meaning of growth?”
No answer came.
So Jia remained.
Not still. Not certain. Not victorious.
It pressed one root deeper. Then another.
It found no passage. It found water.
It rose again.
The wall did not move. Jia did.
Years later, what had once been called the wall was covered in branches.
Growth does not promise passage.
It reveals where life still seeks a way.
Jia learned then that growth is not the proof that a path exists.
Growth is the refusal to let the absence of a path become the end of becoming.
甲行至一堵无门之墙。
墙后有光，墙前是多年压实的土。
甲问：“若前方无路，生长还有什么意义？”
无人回答。
于是甲留了下来。
不是静止，不是笃定，也不是已经胜利。
它把一条根伸得更深，又一条。
它没有找到路，却找到了水。
于是再向上。
墙没有改变。甲先改变了自己。
多年以后，曾被称为墙的地方，已覆满枝叶。
生长不保证道路存在。
生长只是显出：生命仍在寻找道路。
甲于是明白，生长并不是道路存在的证明。
生长，是生命不让“无路”成为“无可再成”。

Jia may appear in a person, an organization, an intelligence, a relationship, or a civilization whenever life attempts to extend beyond a present boundary.
This is an interpretive archetype, not a claim that Jia is the unique or exhaustive code of reality.
Where life still seeks a way,
Jia may appear.
